What is Aluminum Polishing?

Aluminum polish works by oxidizing the oxide layer on the surface of aluminum. This then creates a thin layer that can be polished away using other materials such as steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasives such as sandpaper.

The chemicals used in aluminium polish are able to remove oxidation from the surface of the metal and create a smooth and shiny finish to any type of aluminum material including metals, alloys, plastics, woodwork, etc. Aluminum polish is also effective because it works best when used with an electric drill which provides power allowing for fast removal from the metal.
